When ordering custom stickers with us, one of the decisions you’ll have to make is whether to choose sheet format or roll format. Each has its own advantages depending on how you plan to use the stickers.
Stickers on Sheets: Great for small runs
If you’re producing smaller quantities or custom shapes, stickers supplied on sheets are often the ideal choice. Stickers International’s standard vinyl stickers are supplied in easy-peel sheet format, with multiple stickers per sheet, usually A4 size (though very large stickers may be supplied individually).
- Low minimum order: You can order from as little is £20 (ex. VAT) per design, making sheets very cost effective for start-ups, small businesses, or occasional users.
- Easy to handle and peel: As they’re on sheets, individual stickers are easy to peel and distribute by hand. Perfect if you want to sell them individually or include them in parcel shipments.
Labels and Stickers on Rolls: Ideal for volume and automatic application
If you plan to apply many stickers, for example to products or packaging lines, stickers supplied on rolls may be better suited. Roll format stickers come ready on cardboard cores, which makes them easy to peel continuously.
- Efficiency for larger quantities: Rolls are especially useful if you’re printing hundreds or thousands of labels. Handling is easier and faster than peeling sheet after sheet.
- Consistent application: For product labelling or bulk sipping, rolls provide a smooth workflow, whether manually or using automated labelling machines.
- Best for labels rather than decorative stickers: For branding, product labelling, or packaging where volume and uniformity matter more than individual sticker variety, roll labels are often the ideal choice.
Which should you choose?
- Opt for sheets if you want custom shapes/sizes and small to medium quantities or want to distribute stickers individually.
- Opt for rolls when you need large quantities and efficient application or are producing labels rather than promotional stickers.
At Stickers International, the choice is yours. Understanding the difference will help ensure you get the most value and impact from your sticker or label order.
